We are recruiting for several experienced Electricians to join our client's team, carrying out maintenance and installation jobs for both residential and commercial/industrial properties, including upgrades, repairs, replacements and installations.
• Monday to Friday (40 hours)
• Overtime may also be required and working occasional weekends
• Company vehicle, Pension, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Key responsibilities:
• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition reports (EICR) and sign off electrician's reports
• Plan, layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local legislation and BS7671 regulations
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
• Have knowledge/experience of electrical installations/reactive works and fault finding on commercial sites in both light and power (internal and external)
• Work closely with the office to organise and plan your day efficiently
• Professionally meeting with clients/tenants on a day-to-day basis
• Send necessary reports and certification back to office following completion of works
Key requirements:
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to problem solve
• Good communication skills, initiative and attention to detail
• Time management and organisational skills
• Order materials which are required for remedial works
• Computer literate
• The ideal candidate will be based in Worcestershire but willing to occasionally travel away from home during the week
Essential qualifications that you must have:
• Fully qualified Electrician and hold the relevant certificates
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• 17th Edition
• NVQ3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• GCSE Maths (grade C or above) or Functional Skills level 2 You MUST hold an ECS Gold card.
Experience required:
To have a minimum of 5 years' experience post qualification experience and 2 years' experience in a senior electrician role.
Successful candidates will have to take part in DBS checks due to working on client sites and be required to produce certified evidence of qualifications.
