Finance Assistant (Part Time)
Job role: We are looking for an assistant to work in our finance department
The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of SAGE 50 accounts and Excel.
The job role involves working in both the sales and purchase ledger of the business.
You will also be required to credit chase competently, deal with supplier queries/debt chasing and to process incoming payments and credit/debit card transactions.
The role will also involve covering other administrative duties and handling the incoming telephone calls over the lunch time period.
Skills required for the job: At least 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts role and or AAT Level 2 qualification. General Admin experience either in the same or similar roles.
An ability to work under pressure, using own initiative as well as being able to work as part of the team in an office environment.
Candidate specification: the candidate will need to have a positive and enthusiastic manner, with an ability to work in, at times, a busy office.
You will need to be able to adapt to any situation and be able to manage your time and work load efficiently and effectively.
Hours of work: TBC
Salary: dependant on experience
