We are currently recruiting for a Tooling Engineer to ensure timely and efficient moulding of new and existing parts, and to strengthen the MRO team (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) team for our client in Worcester.
An engineer/technician with at least 3 years experience of CNC milling, lathes and grinding using a variety of manual and programmed machines.
A background in plastic injection moulding and/or Tier 1 automotive.
Able to display initiative and demonstrate a pro-active, can-do attitude.
Demonstrate commercial acumen for job costings, purchasing of materials and consumables within budget.
Demonstrable hands-on process fault finding & rectification techniques.
Good communication skills and the ability to keep accurate records.
A relevant engineering qualification and/or time served toolmaking apprenticeship.
You will be employed to work 40 hours per week. A flexible approach to working additional hours when required is preferred
New starters will have 20 days holiday (increasing by 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 25) plus Bank Holidays
